First, to those of you who played with me on some of these songs, thank you! Fantastic contributions, all, and so in keeping with my hopes for where these pieces could go. A big brotherly *Shout Out!!* to Pete Zolli, whose remarkable drumming/percussion graces, propels, and spices most tracks.

These ten songs are all cogs in a rather unified post-'Tick Treatment; collection of Bret Music 2017-present with a few friends propelling things and adding spice. A sonic grab-bag unified by a consistent time, place, diet, and muse. 
This is an MP3 freebie, with printable graphics. I don't believe this conflicts - *market-wise* - with anything else that my friends are selling or about to be selling. I think about these things. 

I'm reconnecting with some creative people from the cassette 80's via Hal's revivified EC, and feel that my wonderful MOON MEN-galaxy of indie music friends doing things their own way on their own timetables will benefit from future "cross-overs" that might happen with more of us working in more "pigeonhole-able" [hahahaha] genres. :)

What I am about to say is about two unique mixes of a long work Tom Furgas and I are calling 'WEREWOLF Music For Educational Architecture' (A & B), and sharing here on Electronic Cottage.

I am retiring after 20 years of teaching reading, writing and art this year, and decided to memorialize the school I now teach in - and the one my daughters went to - by finding music in it and making a composition out of what I can gather. 

Holding my trusty ZOOM stereo recorder - I walked around the building inside and out, starting with a very talented grey bird in a cone-shaped tree out front - who announces sunrise every morning while teachers unload kids from cars - and hitting everything that might make a sound with a small hard mallet. I caught single or double phrases in different time-signatures, and used my heartbeat and breathing as a 'clock' to get these bits in the same count-y, so to speak. 1000 edits, easily, putting THE WEREWOLF [Music for Educational Architecture] foundation sourcetrack together. Very fun. 

I am refining a compositional method that starts with The Eye, long before letting my ears know what anything I'm manipulating visually sounds like. This music initially derived from the patterns, shapes, and symmetry of adjacent waveforms. What went into 'WEREWOLF'? A lotta Partch, some liberties borrowed from Ives, and a sprig of Hindemith. Call me a nerd... whatev's. 

This stereo mix of my foundational composition was sent off to Tom Furgas, who then added to the 'narrative' from his own sound sources, and made these two mixes.
