First, to those of you who played with me on some of these songs, thank you! Fantastic contributions, all, and so in keeping with my hopes for where these pieces could go. A big brotherly *Shout Out!!* to Pete Zolli, whose remarkable drumming/percussion graces, propels, and spices most tracks. These ten songs are all cogs in a rather unified post-'Tick Treatment; collection of Bret Music 2017-present with a few friends propelling things and adding spice. A sonic grab-bag unified by a consistent time, place, diet, and muse. This is an MP3 freebie, with printable graphics. I don't believe this conflicts - *market-wise* - with anything else that my friends are selling or about to be selling. I think about these things. I'm reconnecting with some creative people from the cassette 80's via Hal's revivified EC, and feel that my wonderful MOON MEN-galaxy of indie music friends doing things their own way on their own timetables will benefit from future "cross-overs" that might happen with more of us working in more "pigeonhole-able" [hahahaha] genres. :) - BHH ...................... Tracks 1, 3, 4, 6-8, and 10 (Hart) Tracks 2,9 (Hart/Newhouse/James) Track 5 (source sounds: Morris/arrangement: Hart) 1. Stricken Objects 2. That's What She Said 3. Assholes Seem To Live Forever 4. Face Palm 5. I SUPPORT LITTLE SNEEZY JOE 6. Peter Punkinhead 7. Aridnesses 8. Turtles All The Way Down 9. The Painted Lady Implodes 10. Dance Of The Eternal Polyp

Bret, thank you one whole hell of a lot for sharing Tipped A Mule with the EC Community. I just gave it a good listen and quite enjoyed it. Lots of variety, techniques, textures and approaches. Edgy and out, but also nicely-controlled and produced. Seems like we have a pleasing grab bag of improv, prog, field recordings, noisiness, and humor. It all sounds good to me.

Thanks Hal. I'm a product of the genreless 80's DIY scene, like you. I like 'grab bags'.

Enjoying right now! It is being a great experience after a hellish Monday full of papers, wind and orthodontist! ( well, to be honest, I'm also having a great experience every day, but this work is really good)

Thank you, Hesse! I am tickled and honored to have caught your notice. Some very dear old friends guest on TIPPED A MULE and will be delighted when I point your program out to them. Wow... more airplay in Europe. :)
