ECC5 is a compilation of collaborative duos chosen by chance.
58 members of the Electronic Cottage Community requested participation in the EC Compilation project.
On July 12, 2019 compilation producer Hal McGee drew two names at a time from a brown paper sack containing slips of paper on which he had written the names of the 58 participants.
The collaborators were instructed to create an audio work not exceeding two minutes and 53 seconds in length, plus artwork to accompany the audio recording.

I’ve been listening in segments and then taking breaks to let the pieces really sink in. Really mind blowing! Hal, you did a fantastic job on putting all the tracks together. Much appreciation to you and all our fellow EC participants! Now I’m off to listen some more :)

I won't be able to listen to the compilation with pleasure for the time being, now that Facebook has suffocated another delicate plant of individuality.

Unfortunately a perfect example of what Facebook does with our culture. Dry out, suffocate and assimilate into uniformed own structures.

On several levels, Facebook is a poison to humanity that destroys it sustainably.

LL, when you do finally listen you are going to discover that EC Compilation 5 is marvelous, and I am proud to say, a classic! There is never a dull moment on the compilation. Facebook is a utility, like telephone service, public transportation, water and sewer service, and electricity.

I will listen sooner or later...

"Facebook is a utility, like telephone service, public transportation, water and sewer service, and electricity"

>>> Really no insult, but comparisons like these don't work anymore. That's not just my opinion. A lot of the mainstream scientists analyzed and defined Facebook.

The result was devastating - Facebook brought a whole new dimension of decomposition.

Of course everybody is totally free to see it a different way. Sorry I was never with the masses.

All the best to all EC people!
