Mr.Bennett,

Can I ask for audio, while you are reciting the poem?

Good idea

Not sure when I'll have time to do it, tho!

I would be VERY interested, however, in hearing what someone else sounded like reading the poem aloud. And BEFORE they hear me doing it, which would tend to limit the interpretive possibilities for other people.

If anyone would like to offer a recording of your own interpretation of John's poem (see other Comments on this post), I would be happy to create an addendum to the post and include links to your recordings, or I could even offer them in streaming audio players on this page (192 kbps MP3). Yes, I would eventually like to hear John read it, because whenever I read one of his poems I always try to hear his voice in my mind reading it.
