I'm listening to Radio On Berlin right now and I realise I should tell you about it.
A Radio station that goes a different way - so it is still a *real* radiostation with info_shows, music_shows, talk_shows, special_shows etc etc. but all is approached with a *different* mind. The general approach can be described as open minded / experimental_ish but it never ends in a complete chaos, which for my liking does not make any sense these days, where the whole world is a complete chaos. Radio On Berlin shows always give you food for thought. I guess you may be very much interested in *cassette shows*, so for example *The Tape Review Show* is perfect for you. The two Radio On Berlin main characters Rinus Van Alebeek and Adrian Shephard (sometimes with guests) have very humorous in depth conversations about cassettes - of course also playing many tracks from cassettes. Here the cassette is not a cult object but a medium to present a culture far off the beaten path. There are many more cassette related aspects (plus much more!) to discover on Radio On Berlin. Like at the moment the *historic* cassette shows from Don Campau of the 1990s! Or "Rinus Van Alebeek – Letter from Linz, Interview with Wolfgang Dorninger on cassette culture node.linz"...! The shows rotate on a alternating timeline, so whereever you are on this planet there may be a convenient time for you! http://www.radio-on-berlin.com/?page_id=591 - The Time indications are automatically adapted to your local time. http://www.Radio-On-Berlin.com
