Christmas Gifts Mail Art from EC members

12/14/2018

Here I am again showing how members and associates of our EC community have become early Santa Claus and have filled my mailbox with wonderful gifts. Possibly the best gifts that I could hope for. I really am not much of Santa Claus and following my Catholic and Spanish education celebrated the Magi Kings much more (on January 6 they arrive in Spain); but what the hell, on December 25th I will give a hug to that fat and bearded gentleman for being so generous to me in such an anticipated way.  Well, after these somewhat childish and silly words but full of a true Christmas feeling, I take this publication to wish all members of EC, friends and readers a fucking Christmas, I recommend it, never be faithful to a person flying in a sleigh pulled by reindeer and laughing in that terrible way.

I've gotta get back to mailing stuff out, I have at least 2 more sets of postcards, many of which will be sent out to fellow EC members! That Leg Lamp piece reminds me of a double-sided postcard that I had made last year.

Great Dylan! I love! Now I have to stop a bit since I'm involved in a project that will absorb a lot

Lovely mail art, the leg lamp is from the 1983 movie A Christmas Story, where Darren McGavin wins it & on the box is stamped fragile, he says its fragilee. Sets it up in the parlor window so all walking by can see. His wife hates it she breaks it accident or on purpose? Darren tries to glue it back together to no avail.
Anyways I have a night light of that leg lamp stashed away. Lol
