Mail Art from Nicolas Malevitsis

The King of Fools is a Mail Art project managed by Nicolas Malevitsis and me. The point is that Nicolas started writing about this after finding strange writings and stamps in some old bookstore in Athens, I think. I am not very sure. He also found a mysterious graffiti, from which he took photographs and made a rubber stamp, which very kindly sent me along with a really enigmatic story. With the passage of time he sent me again a rubber stamp where you can see how Monastar is actually the King Of Fools. The truth is that I do not have the keys. I hope that one day Nicolas will tell us his version of events.

True, mysterious and enigmatic. Sometimes he visits me in dreams

(fake, but an artist is supposed to say nonsense of this style)

So, someone send you the stamps(last 3 pics)? I thought you made them yourself. Interesting project!

Yes, Frank, the first rubber stamp was made (from my design) and sent by Neda Mehrjoo (Iran) and the second and third by Nicolas Malevitsis

In 1986, at the age of 16, I released Exenple,
my first cassette of industrial music,  which I recorded with my 13-year-old brother under the name Brigada Nadie.

I was a member of the futurist multidisciplinary group Equipo Estético Étika Makinal (or 3EM), and Spanish experimental noise band I.Q.C.M.

Over the years I have created many solo and collaborative audio works.

In recent years I have turned my attention more toward visual and mail art. I like to create collages and rubber stamp art.
