Part 2
Rafa -
I know it's difficult but ... Could you explain to us, especially for those of us who have never heard of Copy Art, how was it you started and developed your Copy Art Performances?

Jürgen -
Copy art-performances are very different and difficult to describe. That is why I enclose my artist-statement from 1986, which gives you an impression how I think and how I started a concept for a performance with a copy-machine.
Hope this helps you a little bit.
Otherwise turn to the Museo Internacional de Electrografia

Thanks so much for this great posting. Very informative and thought provoking. This is an excellent graphic score with a wonderful balance of person/artist, machine, audience and chance and intention.

Leslie, sorry for my delay in answering, but I'm out of my home visiting my family in Asturias. Thank you very much for your words and I am very happy that you like it. I am really enjoying this research about Jürgen. I am also enjoying my current investigation with our friend Hal

Thank you Rafael for making us discover this artist, which I understood while doing some research that he had been associated with Fluxus movement. Unfortunately, I still could not find online videos of his performances of Copy Art ...

Thank you Rafa. Great to learn more about Jürgen. I love to read that Something was Happening and Jürgen knew what that was in 1986!

In 1986, at the age of 16, I released Exenple,
my first cassette of industrial music,  which I recorded with my 13-year-old brother under the name Brigada Nadie.

I was a member of the futurist multidisciplinary group Equipo Estético Étika Makinal (or 3EM), and Spanish experimental noise band I.Q.C.M.

Over the years I have created many solo and collaborative audio works.

In recent years I have turned my attention more toward visual and mail art. I like to create collages and rubber stamp art.
