In the coming days and weeks you will find on this page all of the information that you need to participate in this project. You can use this page to ask questions, and to talk about the project.
The Electronic Cottage Audio Exquisite Corpse project will commence soon. It is important to understand that we will be creating one continuous piece of music and/or sound collage approximately one hour in length, with all contributions connected together in a chain composition.
This project will be conducted via email.
This project is only open to participation by EC Community members.
You do not need to do anything yet!
I will contact each one of you when it is time for you to create your part of the Exquisite Corpse.
In recent weeks I have been recording audio material for this and the EC Add-And-Pass Cassette projects.
Here is a list of the EC members who have asked to participate in the Exquisite Corpse:
It is not too late to join the project.
Participants will be asked to contribute to the exquisite corpse in an order that will be largely determined by chance process, not by the order of names listed above.
Please prepare yourselves and make sure that you are able to create lossless stereo audio files, WAV format (44,100 Hz, 16 bits per sample).
You must be able to attach and send your audio file by email.
In the original project invitation
I said that audio contributions should be
a maximum of five minutes.
I am going to change this to a maximum of three minutes.
More details to follow.
Please check this page on a regular basis.
In 2011 I conducted a project called the Exquisite Corpse Audio Chain Letter for participation by members of the Contact Group of Homemade Experimental and Electronic Music. This logo was created by Jon Seven in 2011. Please submit a new project logo for the Electronic Cottage Audio Exquisite Corpse. If I like it I will use it for our current project.
