This is my art (pt.2)

As my artistic journey continues with even more drawing on little bits of random card, these pieces mark a move into 'digital art'. All three are manipulations of scanned pieces. The brighter one was coloured using the Gimp, which is a great alternative to Photoshop, if you can figure it out, which I have yet to do. I scanned a drawing and coloured the scan, so I can do it as many times as I like with different colours. It's like magic! The two less colourful pieces were blurred and messed about with in Irfanview, the best image-viewing software on earth. I feel they have a look of ancient paper discovered in a damp tomb.

creaky door handles

I love the unexpected noises that can be heard from creaky doors and door handles, so I recorded some.
These three tracks are manipulations of iPhone recordings I did of three of the door handles in my home.
Music is everywhere.

In the 1990s I did a lot of Mail Art, which involved a lot of trading 'weird tapes' and other nonsense.
Then I started doing computer manipulations under the name Tripod Sardine, and then...
I listen to a lot of DIY/avant garde/odd stuff, and enjoy thinking about how strange it all is.
