It is a session of free improvisation of remarkable grace and clarity, and NOT a chaotic blast of noise which the preceding list might imply. These are three musicians at the top of their form and skills, and their interactions balance, build on each other, and form structures and developments of great beauty. The recording quality is excellent. Do not miss this one: available from Bandcamp as download, streaming or CD: https://milmin.bandcamp.com/album/never
Editor's Note: I was not aware that artists can use emojis in the titles of their tracks!
SOME NICE CREAKS
Ben Bennett – drum set, Jack Wright – saxophone
Two of the musicians from the NEVER disc go at it in this session, which overall is
quieter and more intimate. Ben & Jack seem to be talking to each other in moods which go from meditative to excited. Most of the time they are both talking at the same time, but their individual voices are clear and varied; it is a delight to be present. Another excellent recording, available from Bandcamp as download or streaming: https://milmin.bandcamp.com/album/some-nice-creaks

My son John Also Bennett has just released a great new LP, his first solo work, titled Erg Herbe, on the Shelter Press label, which, if you ask me, is pretty dang good, and I'm not alone in thinking that.
John Also Bennett is an extremely versatile musician who has worked with numerous groups in different styles, and performed all over the world, for several years now. His personal approach to making music has been evolving rapidly in recent years, and this is his first completely solo album. I love it; it is hard to describe; it has a kind of ambient electronic and acoustic, lyrical, minimalist and other-worldly quality that is fully realized. It is a kind of music that is very hard to make into something compelling, and Also has pulled it off. Quite wonderful! And it makes his papa proud! Check it out!
