I started recording "noise music" in early 2004, completely unaware of any "scenes" or other individuals doing this sort of thing. A lot of lo-fi recordings on a portable tape player, oftentimes guitar or bass feedback drone and delay.

In 2008, I started putting out my own releases. I had by then given up on being in any rock bands with other people and stuck to improvised solo recordings on portastudios. Between then and 2011, I think only dozen people had heard any of my releases. And then I started Hell Garbage, where I started connecting with people a lot more.

At the end of 2012, I played my first Noise show, at St. Pete Noise Fest 5. I originally only did it on a whim and had no intention of playing live much after that. Lo and behold, the set had a good enough reception to enable me to seek out and play even more.

Fast-forward to June 2014, where I had booked my own gig for the first time. Uncle Lou's in Orlando had dates available, and again on a whim, I took a shot at booking. It went well enough, surprisingly good turnout for a Wednesday night.

2 years later, I moved into a house in Lakeland. Initially because it was within walking distance of my workplace...but a recent show fell through and I thought "why don't we just move the show here? As long as it's over by a certain time...I mean there's plenty of parking space..." The show was a success and nobody complained!
