This is excellent!

Much more precise than your prior work ... this is like a movie for your ears with a plot. One can follow and construct an on story in ones mind.. this no doubt can keep you glued to the speakers for as long as it runs!

I really like this VERY much...this is one of the best releases I ever heard from you.

LL, thanks for these comments. These assemblages DO seem to have a much wider frequency and dynamic range than many or most of the assemblages I've done previously. I did not use any microcassette or cassette on these albums, which means that the sound is less compressed.

I just listened to this album twice with headphones while writing some correspondence -- a great accompany to my work. The augury aspect hit my ears with a wonderful sense of timing and spacing. The coincidences created a meditative ambience that nudged my attention without burdening me with excesses of aggression nor monotony. I'm thinking that the Hal hearing problems must have taken leave for this achievement to be fulfilled? I hope that this is true, and I hope to hear more Halbums like this in the future.

LL, C3, and Rafa, thanks for your comments. I am happy that you enjoy the album. I forgot to list on the album cover and in the info here that I also used the Moog Model D and the Noisemusick applications for iPhone.

Very good! Hal.
Good idea to mix the sounds from day to day with synths. The atmosphere that starts at minute 14 is great. Regards!!!

I have been making my own homemade experimental music since 1981.

I was an active participant in the 1980s Cassette Culture scene, and I operated the Cause And Effect Cassette Distribution Service and label, and recorded solo as Dog As Master, and in a duo as Viscera.

From 1989 to 1991 I published six issues of the original Electronic Cottage print magazine.

In the last 40 years I have recorded, produced and released more than 300 solo audio works, collaborations and compilations.
