... even though I'm listening right now...I can't believe it .. another one already??

I think the recent dictaphone assemblages are getting better and better because they get more structured and the segments are more *defined*. Also they have more depth and the use of various synthesizers sounds definitely add dimensions.

There's always something *in the spotlight* which sure keeps the tension!

Yes, another one already! This should come as no surprise because I carry a dictaphone with me in my pocket everywhere I go. These dictaphone assemblage albums are like diaries or documents of my life. This album consists of recordings that I made in the month of September. I am of course recording and accumulating new sounds during this month of October, with the intention of assembling them into new constructions and I will issue a new album in early November.

Yes - I understand the structure - but you also have to select, combine and mix. All seems to happen in a very *organic* way .. would take me endless..but then I know that I'm often quite jammed when I work with own material.

I, too, thoroughly enjoyed the latest audio film art experience courtesy of Hal McGee. There are sounds on the last track that sound like they're straight out of Super Mario World!

Thanks to all of you for listening and commenting! It’s one of my favorite albums that I have created. It seems to have the right blend of quotidian sounds, spoken words and electronic sounds. Plus the sound quality and mix are pleasing.

Listened to this last night when I got off work and I have to say it is really fantastic. I love the "carried along" quality of your pieces. It's like I get to travel with you a little bit and see your life from an insider's point of view.

Just listened while working on a collage. Great brain fuel for such activities! My ears are pretty well-traveled in your neighborhood, too (and many others' ears as well!). Great stuff!

I have been making my own homemade experimental music since 1981.

I was an active participant in the 1980s Cassette Culture scene, and I operated the Cause And Effect Cassette Distribution Service and label, and recorded solo as Dog As Master, and in a duo as Viscera.

From 1989 to 1991 I published six issues of the original Electronic Cottage print magazine.

In the last 40 years I have recorded, produced and released more than 300 solo audio works, collaborations and compilations.
