In 2012 I made this collage of works by Hal McGee.

I can't remember what pieces I used, but it does feature one of his duets with Jiblit Dupree.

It's free to stream or download
from the Internet Archive.

Enjoy.

Hi Jim! Thanks for posting your Halmicks! I really enjoyed listening to it. I especially enjoyed it at about the 19-minutes mark: I found myself starting to zone- and space-out! What gear or program did you use to create this mix?

Cheers Hal. Didn't really use anything special. I generally use Goldwave for my sound manipulations; Basically it's just layered, but i might have slowed something down or filtered it a bit, or looped it. Can't remember now. It's a pretty rudimentary thing. Glad you liked it.

I am not hugging a tree, unless it's hugging me back!

In the 1990s I did a lot of Mail Art, which involved a lot of trading 'weird tapes' and other nonsense.
Then I started doing computer manipulations under the name Tripod Sardine, and then...
I listen to a lot of DIY/avant garde/odd stuff, and enjoy thinking about how strange it all is.
