Absolutely essential collection by The Nightcrawlers
(Pete and Tom Gulch and Dave Lunt)
of kosmische electronic space music
created with analog synthesizers
in the early 1980s
and originally released on self-produced cassettes.
Available on double LP with 28 page booklet.
I purchased the double CD version (+booklet) because it has four tracks not on the vinyl set. You can stream the album
in the Bandcamp player above
If you love the sound of abstract analog synth and sequencer music in the same realm as early Tangerine Dream, Popol Vuh, and Klaus Schulze, this stuff is for you. But I like this much better than any of those better-known artists!
All of these recordings were made live
with a JVC stereo boombox
utilizing the built-in condenser mic on the recorder. Recorded in a garage!
It sounds great. A very alive sound.
This is homemade dream music
that will take you places, believe me!
