Cassette Culture Node.Linz in Vienna 15

Wolfgang Dorninger does it again! His cassette culture presentation will go to Vienna (Austria) May 29 to June 27, 2019.

His first Cassette Culture Node Linz exhibition in June/July 2018 was an extremely well structured insight in this cultural movement. With lectures, exhibition, work shops, concerts and more.

His lecture on video brought many thoughts to my mind - the differences between now and then

Here you find an extensive website with info (german/english) videos, slide shows, mail art, pictures and more on what will happen in Vienna.

Ooo... I see Herd Of The Ether Space giving a thumb up from Matthias Lang/IRRE right there on the promo -- I'm smiling!

My sincerest admiration to Herr Dorninger for organizing such a voluminous undertaking! Thanks for sharing the wealth with Vienna and the world.

Dear LL, dear EC Community!

I would like to thank you very much for your encouraging words. The fact that the exhibition in Linz can now also be shown in Vienna is very satisfying for me because the second time everything will be easier. I would like to have much more budget to invite guests from abroad. LL in Vienna with the guitar in his hand and "Kick There It Goes Again", "Please Could You Flush Me Down ...", "Took A Trip ..." and "Jamming With The Dinosour" on his lips a dream. It would also be wonderful to have Hal McGee for a lecture and a concert in Vienna, .... and I remembered countless more, which would be an enrichment for Vienna. In such situations, I would like to be a little bit rich.

At the moment I am very happy that I can at least carry out a small, very Viennese supporting program with great artists. Some live close to the printery of Thomas Resch (Monochrome Bleu singer and sax player) where the exhibition happens.

I will often post news in this thread, so that the EC Community will be informed.

Some news articles and links worth to be visited on CCNL:

Best Wolfgang

Lord Litter, thanks so much for highlighting the link to the video tour page. Wolfgang, you’ve put together an impressive exhibition and to see and hear you talk about the works on view and what was going on with the practitioners at the time is great. It is also great that you included more recent cassettes releases. I look forward to checking back in on CCNL site and (re)discovering more. Thanks to you and everyone involved for all your extraordinary work. Truly inspiring!
