This show is my kind of entertainment... Great discussions, unique recordings, cassettes everywhere, familiar artists, new-to-me artists -- all presented with magic audio frills and ear-catching production. Never a dull moment. I tip my hat, Herr Litter!

One of my favorite shows, that I heard from you so far! I loved 'The Beetles'-stuff and I was wondering what the Kylie-tape would sound like. Yup, very enjoyable listen.

Dear Lord Litter, I enjoyed listening to this program. The musical selections and your presentation of them are excellent. I especially enjoyed the discussion by Gen Ken and Crystal about the Internet, social media, Electronic Cottage, and cassettes. I think that I can agree with Crystal that the so-called Cassette Resurgence is really about commodification. Ken and Crystal are both right about how cassettes are excellent creation tools and personal artist exchange items. To me, what I am striving for with EC is to create an online community or environment, or as Ken called it "an online block party" where artists can gather and exchange sounds and images and ideas in a virtual place that FEELS like what Cassette Culture is supposed to feel like! In other words, to me cassettes are no longer necessary. Now it's all about context. I can listen to a new audio work by an EC Community member or to one of your radio programs, LL, or one by Swami Loopynanda, and because of the context and setting — a filtered world, reduced by necessity to a small group of people with mutual interests — when I listen to these highly personal works online at EC it FEELS like I am listening to a cassette! Ken kind of addressed this in his comments.

"..to me cassettes are no longer necessary" - my opinion too - there are many ways today to live *the attitude* .. and YES I even think one can do it with online releases - some people my be astonished that I say this ... still I keep my shows dedicated to physical releases ... for many reasons...
